opening bands ehhh
they rocked the shit out of the place, coby hooked me up with a drum stick, chatted with alex. they get better each time live. max's mom was there so he did a nice tribute to her. first time ahh men and cemetery were played live and they perfected it. ahh men was crazy cemetery as well. i still love this band.

Yeah, definitely not the first time, because I was there when he played it for the first time last year at the Chain Reaction!

Awww, good times Zoë <3 And for the record, VW WAS SO FUCKING GOOD. The venue was tiny - I'd be surprised if 200 people fit in there - and we were right next to the stage and they played almost the whole album and 6 new songs. twitpic.com/ogm5cThat's how close we were. ahhh that looks tiny and awesome! what venue is that? jealous.
i saw them at the Wiltern a year ago. they played in Pomona the night before and when they had guitar issues some guy was like "GO BACK TO THE GLASS HOUSE!" and now my friend and i say that all the time and i'm homesick.

Come home, Zo-zo! It's this place called Pappy and Harriet's. It's in Pioneertown in the middle of fucking nowhere and it was seriously like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity cos VW is just getting bigger and bigger and I'll never be able to see them like that again! So much fun. And I'm STOKED for Contra!
