they seem better than the rest of the album on first listen tbh. definitely worth a listen.

on 2nd listen, holy shit the weird robot voice part in narcissus is awesome. why the fuck the whole album wasn't like these three songs is beyond me. consider my faith in max ever so slightly restored. even if you don't feel like listening to the actual album please listen to these.
plus there's a 9 song demo disc yet to surface, and since i'm lyke ttly indy kyd i'll probably prefer the demo versions of whatever songs are on there. at least i hope so, i wanna like this album somehow.

all 3 of those tracks made me fall right back in love with max. i mean max's music. myes. but seriously, this definitely made me feel better about them. my favourite of the 3 is probably i love you more

i think they made me realize that i hate the new album because its too happy. i'm miserable right now and want to hear the miserable music i listened to in high school. they grew up, i did not.

i havent downloaded anything but the actual album... it wasn't as bad as i expected. its definitely much happier, etc which is plenty different for the say anything we're all used to. its all pretty catchy.. and i'm at the point where i realize nothing that any band does will be IARB, ever. i'm over it. time to move on!
but yeah, i like a lot of the guitar/synth parts. i could imagine them putting on a pretty great live performance with some of the songs on the album. overall verdict: i dont mind this album, but its nothing too special.

 IMO!: This is 10 times better then the actual version, bemis' lyrics with the acoustic guitar bring it back to oldschool unreleased tracks that most fans loved so much and is what we loved about his music. It's sad that the acoustic demos are better then the actual album, but refreshing at the same time and makes me what the IDOTG demos. TBh these versions of the songs are amazing and I kinda wish I didn't listen to the actual album and become discouraged like IDOTG. This is the way Bemis should record, some lyrics are different and imo better then the final product. Seems like all the fat is cut and even made the horrible song hate everyone better. Opinions?
