Here's a little rant about this tour that I've been meaning to say for a while. The act of number 1 is what lead me to blurt out number 2. Here we go. 1) I made a little wrap up of links to videos of songs that haven't been recorded and posted them so we could have a general idea of what to expect from the next record as a whole - tinyurl.com/feathersocks2) Can we just say out loud how fucking weird and wrong it was that Weatherbox toured with The Dangerous Summer and Ten Second Epic? I'm sure a lot of you saw them during this tour. I had to sit through the longest 6 songs of my life from TSE, where I got to experience too much finger wagging and the most ridiculous representation of Canadian pride I've experienced so far in this life. Luckily I was able to push up to the right corner of the stage afterward, so I could have Andy's big ol' bass sway in front of me while he did his thing. And oh how he did his thing. I looked around at the dull faces of the teenyboppers anxiously waiting in between songs in hope that their band would hurry up and get on stage. I knew what to expect so when Box finished up Trippin' I headed to the merch table then headed out. My main concern here is that Weatherbox went on a tour where they may have not been appreciated as much as they should have been and surrounded by the wrong crowd to share their music with. Sorry for the rant y'all. Feel free to tell me to get bent. |

I don't know either of those bands, but I just youtubed them, and Ten Second Epic is really horrible. The Dangerous Summer doesn't seem as bad
