i got mine in late may, and it's running a lot slower than it was.
it's a 120 GB mac mini.
does anyone have any tips/tricks to speed it up more?
i empty my recycle bin every day and clear my internet history, but i don't know what else to do.
i made a new thread because i didn't know where this would go!

you should probably defragment your hard drive if you haven't before. if you google "defragment mac" im sure some software will pop up. i've had my mac for just over a year and mine still is running very well. i have a 750 gig hard drive though.. maybe yours is bogged down? try defragmenting though.. it couldn't hurt!

I got the waffles invite yesterday and i'm using Transmission as a torrent and all my downloadds are still going so damn slow i am using a Mac. Help?

click pause and then resume and see if that helps.

i didnt like transmission when i used it. i use Azureus/Vuze (i cant remember which they call it, these days). i like it much better. it reminds me a lot of the PC version of uTorrent i used to run when i used PC's! i've never had a problem with it.
