i disagree. i loved idotg. is he serious with all the pop culture references? the ~club beats? i can't get over how bad the lyrics are. "she won't follow you" is ok. the rest is so bad it makes me angry. i almost feel betrayed. now i know how everyone felt when idotg came out.

Say Anything has almost reached a Blink 182 status or something for me. It's like I look back on them fondly and enjoy them when I listen to them, but I don't take them too seriously anymore. iARB being an exception, of course. <3

the lyrics just kill it for me. why sing about the kings of leon? who honestly sings "did it hurt when you fell from heaven girl" or specifically mention sherry in a song? come on max.

i agree completely. like i love the melody to eloise but the lyrics are rubbish. i like sherri's backing vocals in... i cant even remember which song it was but she was there somewhere and i liked it.

50/50. Im not so dissapointed, i think the lyrics don't match up to most of the music. i love the ending of Mara and Me. Cemetery is sick, ahh..men is nice, fed to death is cool

I don't even care enough to bother checking it out right now. I agree with what Chris said, but I practically never listen to IaRB anymore either. SA was basically my high school band. I've moved on to more pretentious bigger and better things, like Animal Collective and Devendra Banhart.
