The funeral is a pretty meaningless chapter if you ask meee. The Flight of the Prince is way more consequential. All you really get out of the funeral is knowing Umbridge is still alive and "sry ginny we gotta split". But that's just my opinion! What about the Elder Wand? And I think the Ginny thing is important. The sexual tension has been building up for years!

The 5th movie was the worst, then the 6th at second worst. I recommend you all to either download it or wait until its on dvd, because it really wasn't worth it. I can't really pay any mind to any opinion of the movies that doesn't have Prisoner of Azkaban as the worst. :\ Movies: 6 > 5 > 4 > 2 > 1 > 3 Books: 6 > 4 > 7 > 3 > 1 > 2 > 5 I don't understand.. you said Prisoner of Azkaban was the worst but you listed it as the best movie.. eh?

LMFAO you just repeated him exactly. im just retarded. he made perfect sense the first time.. wow alcohol ftw. umm the 6th movie was BY NO MEANS the best. that irritates me. even aggravates me.. damn near enrages me. that movie was 99% filler. (the last 1% being the departure of that one character.. [and the 5th movie was 100% filler]) fuck

I didn't think HBP was the BEST in the series, but I thought it was great and I don't think it was filler at all. Nor the fifth one, though I do think that was the worst because of how much it cut out from the books. Have you read the series?

The HBP movie wasn't filler at all. The cave is massively important. The memories are massively important. The DRAMDRAMMZ, while kinda silly, are important to character development. I would say that the fifth one was filler, but that's only because so much of the book was filler. It had cool stuff going on some of the time, and my favoritestest character dies in it, but still, it's pretty mehhh to me. That said, it was made really well into a movie considering what little worthy material they had to work with.

Yeah, I'm with Chris. Things might seem like filler now but by the next book everything comes together and it's all ZOMG THIS IS COMPLEX AND AMAZING. Even parts of #7 seemed slow to me, but I swear it's all redeemed by the end.
I will never love a book series, or anything else, the way I love Harry Potter.

So this applies to this thread... today at work we were talking about doing things in movies theatres... We were having a debate on which is more obvious a blow job or sex? opinions? thoughts?

I would say sex is more obvious than the blowjob in the same way killing seventeen baby birds is worse than killing fifteen baby birds.

I meant filler as in the entire movie was filler. There was no real major conflict and resolution. Is it true the seventh book is gonna be two movies? And I think you could pull off sex if you made it look like the girl was just sitting on the guys lap.. and I used to know this really slutty girl who gave a guy a blow job in the front row of a theater.. it was by no means inconspicuous.

The conflict is better conveyed if you've read the book, to be honest. It's all about Draco and Snape and Dumbledore. That said, there is a lot less of it than in all the others. And yeah, Deathly Hallows is going to be two movies.

I'm just ignoring him because he was probably drunk. A separate Harry Potter thread is unnecessary - it'll get like three posts and then be dead until next year when the next movie comes out. This is the MOVIE THREAD, and as Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a MOVIE, we have every right to discuss it as much as we'd like. The end.
