I missed the introductions thread and went straight for music suggestions. I'm Kaleb, 20, and I was born and raised on a small farm in Iowa. I am currently a cinema major at U of I and I participate in picture-taking with a fancy camera, and I do lots of acoustic covers of 'Box songs on the Tube as well as my own original stuff. It's good to be among fellow Weatherboxers.

I kinda came out of nowhere with a bunch of tabs so maybe I should keep the intros going?
I'm Cory. I live in Rochester, NY. I'll turn 24 on September 11th (FUCKING AL-QUAEDA) and I've been listening to the Box for a couple of years now. I'm a big Manchester Orchestra fan and was listening to their station on Last.fm one day when "The Clearing" popped up. I was immediately intrigued and decided to search for Weatherbox's station. I heard "Moments Before the Smashing of Future Ryan" and I haven't looked back since. I would say that I'm actually a bigger Box fan now, although I still like me some MO. Mainly, I love to play my guitars, watch Buffalo Sabres hockey, drink a few brews, and continually procrastinate on going to college. Meh, someday.

I've been playing guitar for many years but I never was a big tabber until I started listening to the Box. Once I figured out their tuning, I started accidentally learning lots of their songs just by messing around and jamming along. The first thing I did after learning a few tunes was search for a forum where I could share them all and hence, here I am. I'm definitely here to stay and I hope to keep contributing to the Weathercommunity. |
